TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARD

WE WILL HELP YOU OBTAIN A TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARD AND A BLUE CARD, USING OVER 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Are you a person from outside the European Economic Area? Are you planning to stay in Poland for more than 3 months and want to legalize your stay? Don’t you know how to apply for a Temporary Residence Card?

Working in Poland, wanting to run a business in the country, continuing education, marrying a Polish citizen or coming to the Republic of Poland to reunite with family – these are the most common situations in which foreigners from outside the EEA apply for a Temporary Residence Card.

However, such cases are complicated. Firstly, depending on the reason for applying for a temporary residence permit, different formal requirements apply. In addition, there is the need to know immigration law and administrative procedures. It is easy to make mistakes when acting on your own. This in turn means that legalising temporary residence in Poland can take much longer.

The situation becomes much simpler if you are supported by an attorney for foreigners throughout the entire procedure. This is how you avoid common mistakes, such as a failure to attach the required documents to the application or filling out the form incorrectly. As attorneys for foreigners, we have been helping to legalize temporary stay in Poland since 2003. Providing services, we:

  • check whether obtaining a Temporary Residence Card is necessary;
  • help you fill out applications and collect the required documents;
  • check all necessary contracts related to the employment of foreigners temporarily staying in the country;
  • take care of the legalization of your stay in Poland;
  • represent you before administrative bodies throughout the entire process of legalizing your stay;
  • provide general legal assistance and advice;

Using our experience, knowledge of regulations and administrative procedures, we supervise the course of the procedure and make every effort to ensure that the case is recognised  as efficiently as possible.

Remember not to delay the decision. You must submit your temporary residence application no later than on the last day of your legal stay.

APPLICATION FOR A TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMIT

A foreigner must personally submit an application for a Temporary Residence Card (or Blue Card), but a proxy may accompany them to the office. As attorneys for foreigners, we help take care of all formal issues. We make sure that you meet the statutory requirements and attach the necessary documents to the application, including confirmation of receiving a permanent income and insurance. We also help you prepare for your visit to the office, and then we supervise the entire process of obtaining a Temporary Residence Card.

SINGLE RESIDENCE AND WORK PERMIT

We will help you take care of obtaining a permit for the employee so that they can legally stay in Poland and at the same time perform the work entrusted to them. By obtaining a single work and residence permit, the entire procedure will be carried out in one administrative procedure, and you will meet all formal requirements related to legal employment. However, if your potential employee has already received a residence permit on another basis – e.g. due to part-time studies – we will also help you take care of legalizing their employment.

BLUE CARD

If a foreigner is to perform a profession requiring high qualifications, they need a special type of temporary residence permit, the so-called Blue Card. Only then do you have the right to legally employ a specialist or a senior employee from outside the European Economic Area in your company. We will help you meet the formal requirements related to obtaining a Blue Card. We will tell you how to prepare a contract, application and necessary documents and we will represent you in the case of obtaining a Blue Card.
